All playoff drivers made it through inspection without issue
The NASCAR Xfinity Series is back racing this weekend at Kansas Speedway as the middle race in the Round of 12.
While all playoff drivers and teams made it through inspection without issue, the same can not be said for the rest of the field.
Three teams failed inspection twice, resulting in a crew member ejection for each team and the loss of pit stall selection for next week's cutoff race at the Charlotte Roval.
The No. 4 Alpha Prime Racing Chevrolet of Parker Retzlaff has lost car chief Nate Vos for the rest of the weekend, the No. 28 RSS Racing Ford of Kyle Sieg loses car chief RB Bracken, and the No. 99 Viking Motorsports Chevrolet of Matt DiBenedetto has lost engineer Chase Prevatte.
The weekend at Kansas will feature the Cup, Xfinity and ARCA Menards Series. CLICK HERE to find more info about the weekend ahead.
NXS was off last weekend, but Aric Almirola won the most recent race at Bristol Motor Speedway. Taylor Gray is currently on the bubble, just three points clear of Nick Sanchez and Jesse Love. Austin Hill is 16 points behind, and Sammy Smith is 14 points back.
In the owner standings, the No. 00 Haas Factory Team Ford is on the hot seat, four points clear of the No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota of Gray and the No. 48 Big Machine Racing Chevrolet of Sanchez. The No. 2 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet of Jesse Love is six points back, while the No. 8 JR Motorsports Chevrolet of Smith is 25 points behind.
