Eintracht Francfort
Farès Chaïbi played a key role in Eintracht Frankfurt's attacking masterclass against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday, September 27th at Borussia-Park, on Matchday 5 of the Bundesliga. The Algerian international and his teammates cruised to a 6-4 victory, thanks to a dominant first-half display.
Eintracht Frankfurt seized control of the game right from the opening minutes. Robin Koch broke the deadlock in the 11th minute with a well-worked goal, quickly followed by strikes from Ansgar Knauff (15') and Jonathan Burkardt (35'). Instrumental in the opening goal, Farès Chaïbi netted his side’s fourth in the 39th minute. After Can Uzun’s goal (45'+1), the 22-year-old Algerian midfielder was back in the spotlight, setting up Robin Koch to make it 6-0 just after the break (47').

Borussia Mönchengladbach, completely overwhelmed in the first half, tried to mount a late comeback. Jens Castrop (72'), Haris Tabakovic (78'), Yannik Engelhardt (83'), and Grant-Leon Ranos (90'+9) all found the net to cut the deficit, but the damage had already been done. With this emphatic win, Frankfurt climbs to fourth place in the table with nine points, leapfrogging Leverkusen. Mönchengladbach remain bottom of the league, still winless after five rounds.
