Week 3 saw Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams look comfortable in head coach Ben Johnson's offensive system.

Williams completed 19 of 28 passes for 298 yards and four touchdowns against a lousy Dallas Cowboys defense, and this performance will surely give him confidence heading into Week 4.

The USC product was sharp all game, consistently finding openings in the Cowboys' coverage and keeping the Bears' offense moving smoothly down the field.

Is Bears QB Caleb Williams turning the corner?

On the September 26 edition of the "Up & Adams" show, former NFL quarterback Chase Daniels gave a positive outlook for Williams.

"I've followed him really closely, one, because I just like the way he plays, too," Daniels told Kay Adams. "I still know a lot of people in Chicago.

"When it comes to Caleb, the first two games of the year—and I'm trying to think back because I've done a lot of them—he's played really well in small spurts. And there's been maybe a narrative out there on Caleb the first two weeks of the season."

Daniels believes that after struggling the first two weeks of the 2025 NFL season, the Bears star is turning the corner.

"When you actually watch the film and break it down, yeah, he struggled in the first half, the second half, the first game, and he's had really good opening drives," Daniels added. "The thing that I like about this game is that I don't care if it's a bad Cowboys' defense.

"I don't care who they're playing. You still have to go out there and spread the ball around. Four breakdown passes to four different receivers. If I'm a Bears fan, I'm hopeful because of the growth he's taken."

Chicago looks to even its record as it faces the Las Vegas Raiders. Both teams are 1-2 and eager to avoid falling to 1-3. With Williams playing with growing confidence, the Bears could take advantage of a Raiders squad that has lost its last two games since beating the New England Patriots in Week 1.
