Adam Ounas makes his grand return to the Algeria squad
Adam Ounas is back with the Algeria A’ national team led by Madjid Bougherra. The Algerian international, who now plays for Al-Sailiya SC in Qatar, has been officially called up for the October training camp set to take place in Annaba. The Qatari club confirmed their player’s call-up, specifying that he is included in the extended squad selected to play two friendly matches against the Palestine national team. These friendlies are part of the local Greens’ preparations for the upcoming Arab Cup, scheduled to be held in Qatar.
However, questions remain regarding the fitness of the former Napoli player. Forced off prematurely in the 33rd minute during the match against Al-Arabi, Ounas suffered a heavy tackle that raised serious concerns.
