Calvin Ridley start or sit: Week 4 fantasy football advice

We break down the fantasy football outlook of Calvin Ridley ahead of the Titans’ Week 4 matchup against the Texans.

Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season is upon us and the action will continue on Sunday with a battle of struggling 0-3 squads in the AFC South as the Tennessee Titans visit the Houston Texans at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.

The Titans were steamrolled by the red-hot Colts last Sunday, falling to their division rivals in a 41-20 blowout loss. Wide receiver Calvin Ridley didn’t play much of a factor in the setback as his underwhelming start to the new campaign continued in Week 3.

Below, we’ll go over Ridley’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 4.

Fantasy Football analysis: Titans WR Calvin Ridley

Ridley had an abysmal afternoon against the Colts last Sunday, catching just one of seven targets for 27 yards in the loss. He ranks in the 70’s among fantasy receivers across all scoring formats ahead of Week 4 and that’s a massive disappointment considering that he was top-30 in ADP ahead of the season.

Drops have been a major issue for the veteran through three weeks as 19% drop rate is the highest among receivers with at least 20 targets this season. Ridley himself is not pleased about his performance and is trying to work through these struggles, but it doesn’t bode well for him that Elic Ayomanor and Chig Okonkwo are proving to be more reliable options for rookie Cam Ward.

Start or sit in Week 4 PPR leagues?

Sit. If you drafted Ridley as your third or even second WR option, it may already be time to abandon ship. The drops and lack of production are a major concern and even with All-Pro cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. potentially sidelined with an oblique injury, I still wouldn’t trust him. Hard pass.

Start or sit in Week 4 standard leagues?

Sit.
