Happy Saturday Husky fans. The Huskies had a massive wave of prospects that headed to Husky stadium this weekend. Here is a look at some of the top prospects who were in town this weekend for the Huskies showdown versus Ohio State.
From the 2027 class the Huskies will have their top running back target, Noah Roberts from Basha HS, AZ. Roberts, who is rated as the 4th best running back in the 2027 class is very interested in UW and he is also looking at Ohio State and Texas very closely. Another top target in the 2027 class from Arizona in 4 star receiver Zerek Sidney from Desert Edge HS, AZ. Sidney is rated as the 33rd best wide receiver in the 2027 class and has heavy interest in the Huskies. Joining Sidney from Desert Edge HS was 4 star defensive back Mikyal Davis.
From California the Huskies had 4 star safety Isala Aisa Wily-Ava from St John Bosco who is one of the top safeties in the west coast in the 2027 class. 4 star defensive lineman Justin Ioane from Tustin HS, CA also made it to campus. Ioane is one of the top defensive lineman in the west coast in the 2027 class. 4 star defensive lineman Elijah Harmon from Inglewood HS, CA was another top defensive lineman the 2027 class that made it up to campus. Harmon’s teammate Myles Smith, another 4 star defensive lineman joined his teammate on campus and has heavy interest in UW.
Locally the Huskies had 2 former UCLA de-commits on campus. 4 star defensive lineman David Schwerzel from O’Dea HS and 3 star linebacker Ramzak Fruean from Bethel HS were on campus to check out the Huskies. From the 2027 class the Huskies had 4 star Quarterback Sione Kaho from Lincoln HS. Kaho is one of the top quarterbacks out west in the 2027 class and the Huskies would love to add him to their program. 4 star defensive lineman Tevita Nonu from O’dea was also on campus to check out the Huskies. Nonu is the top in-state prospect in the 2027 class. 3 star offensive lineman Gecova Doyal from Puyallup HS was on campus. Doyal is the top in-state offensive lineman and the Huskies would love to keep him home.
Despite not winning the game the Huskies had a lot of top talent on hand and that will bode will for future recruiting classes. That is all for today and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
