WCG is back with our predictions for the game! What do our contributors think will happen as the Chicago Bears face off against the Las Vegas Raiders in Las Vegas, after last week’s dominating performance against the Dallas Cowboys? Read below to find out!
Gooch: Prediction: 34 – 21. Bears continue to roll as Caleb eclipses 300 yards passing and throws for two TDs – with another Rome connection. Monangai gets his first NFL TD as he splits rushing duties with Swift. Stevenson picks off Geno. Brock Browers scores a TD (because my fantasy team needs it).
Lester: The Bears keep it rolling and win 30 to 21, behind Caleb’s first 300 yard passing game this season, and a big game from DJ Moore. The defense struggles against the run, but gets a few takeaways.
Sam: Why am I optimistic for a change? I don’t trust my gut, but I think the Bears will win 28-20. The Bears get going, but it isn’t as easy as last week. The defense is tested by Jeanty but does enough to let the Bears pull away.
JackR Salo: The Bears have really struggled to run the ball well this year, and so far in Caleb Williams’ young career he has been inconsistent game-to-game. Early reports suggest the crowd will have plenty of Bears fans in it, but I still lean to the home team in a really physical, low-scoring game. Raiders 17, Bears 13
Ryan Droste: Bears win this one and pull back to 2-2 at the bye. There’s too much riding on this game not to come through, and the Bears are the more talented team. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ve fixed our run defense yet, and Jeanty has his “get right” game against us. But it won’t be enough, as Caleb and the offense keep it rolling. 28-13.
Mongo Peanut: Bears win 24-20. I think the Bears’ offense stays strong, but doesn’t put it all together quite yet. Their defense limits the Raiders’ pass catchers and keeps Geno just uncomfortable.
