More heavy WWE presence at the next big AAA show.
The most recent AAA television taping (Sept. 27, 2025) was a wild night from Mexico City. The end result created title matches for Dominik Mysterio, the Wyatt Sicks, and Natalya at the upcoming special event Heroes Inmortales on October 25.
Dirty Dom opened the broadcast to celebrate himself as the new mega champion. Dominik disrespectfully requested that his face replace Antonio Peña (founder) on the AAA flags. Dom made history as the first wrestler to hold a WWE title and a AAA title at the same time. His imbecile father couldn’t do that. None of the lucha libre legends ever did that either. Like it or not, Dom is the savior of lucha libre.
Dominik returned on commentary for the main event of the evening. Hijo del Vikingo, Dragon Lee, and El Grande Americano duked it out for #1 contender status to the AAA Mega Championship.
This match was nuts. It was balls to the wall excitement. Down the stretch, Vikingo stepped from the turnbuckles onto Dragon’s shoulders to leap for a Mexican destroyer on Americano. Vikingo followed up for a springboard destroyer to Dragon. Kick out by Dragon, so Vikingo went for the finish to land a 630 senton. Americano took advantage to dump Vikingo from the ring. Americano tired to steal the pin, however, Dragon kicked out. Americano loaded his mask for a headbutt. It looked like this match was over, then Vikingo pulled Americano off the pin. Vikingo launched for a shooting star press off the apron down to the floor.
Vikingo was plotting for a move on top of the commentary table. Dragon shot out like a cannonball for a huge suicide dive. Calling this a suicide dive doesn’t do it justice. Dragon had the window of opportunity to finish Americano with Operation Dragon. Dragon punched his ticket to challenge Dirty Dom for the mega title at Heroes Inmortales.
Natalya previously defeated Faby Apache at Worlds Collide in a #1 contender bout to challenge for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship. Faby was booked to wrestle Flammer in a non-title bout. Prior to the contest, Faby requested to increase the stakes. If Faby wins, then she will get to compete for the women’s title in a three-way with Flammer and Natalya at Heroes Inmortales. Flammer made a counteroffer. If Faby loses, then she won’t be able to challenge Flammer ever again for the title. Game on.
Faby backed it up in the ring. After a superplex, Faby executed a dragon suplex for a bridging pin to win. The crowd was hot for the three-count. That means Flammer, Natalya, and Faby will meet in a rematch from Triplemania.
Psycho Clown & Pagano handled action to defend the AAA World Tag Team Championship against El Mesias & Mecha Wolf. The champs were bandaged from injuries, but they overcame the pain. Pagano took down Mesias with a dropkick off the apron down to the floor. Psycho cracked Mecha Wolf on a powerbomb backbreaker to set up la casita roll-up for the win.
Psycho and Pagano wanted payback on the Wyatt Sicks for attacking them at Worlds Collide. A darkly poetic message aired on screen with the date for Heroes Inmortales. The champs were promptly pummeled by Mesias and Mecha Wolf spitting green mist.
The unofficial card for Heroes Inmortales now stands:
- AAA Mega Championship: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Dragon Lee
- AAA Reina de Reinas Championship: Flammer (c) vs. Faby Apache vs. Natalya
- AAA World Tag Team Championship: Psycho Clown & Pagano (c) vs. Wyatt Sicks
