One Austin joins another.
The Bang Bang Gang are low on numbers due to injuries to Jay White and Colten Gunn. That is leaving Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn exposed to a disadvantage when facing other crews. The solution is joining forces with a newly signed talent in AEW, who also happens to have history in the Bullet Club.
Austin, meet Austin. Juice brought in Ace Austin. This pairing was inevitable (Ace’s catchphrase). Juice wanted someone he could trust, and Ace fit the bill.
Ace joined the Bullet Club in 2022 when Switchblade and Juice were already members. Ace and Chris Bey were mainly in TNA at the time while moonlighting for NJPW. Now that Ace is All Elite, hanging with the Bang Bang Gang makes sense for all involved. Austin and Juice have more flexibility in a trio, and Ace receives the rub of association to fans not familiar with his work outside AEW.
