Mount up. We’re heading to the Bronx.

There was a time when I greeted every NYY I saw on the schedule with existential dread. The rivalry was one-sided in a cosmic sense, in a religious sense. The Red Sox and Yankees would meet in a meaningful game and the Yankees would win. The universe allowed for no other possibilities. It’s the only thing that ever made me believe in God.

No more.

We own these guys now.

And they know it.

Garrett Crochet takes the ball in game one of the American League Wild Card series in Yankee Stadium on Tuesday. And I cannot wait.
