In a "must-win" Game 4 on Sunday, the Fever get clutch scoring to defeat the Aces, forcing a pivotal Game 5 in the best-of-five WNBA semifinals series.
In a "must-win" Game 4 of the best-of-five WNBA semifinal series, the Indiana Fever played one of their best games of the season in a 90-83 win over the Las Vegas Aces from a sold-out Gainbridge Fieldhouse to force a decisive Game 5 back in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Tuesday.
Leading Indiana in scoring was Kelsey Mitchell with 25 points on 9-for-20 from the field, including 2-for-5 from 3-point territory and 5-for-6 from the free-throw line.
While Mitchell had the team lead on the score sheet, Aliyah Boston had a monstrous performance on her own with 24 points and 14 rebounds to record a fifth career playoff double-double in her ninth playoff game.

Outside of Mitchell and Boston, guard Odyssey Sims' swift moves and fearless drive to the basket contributed 18 points on her 6-for-9 shooting performance, which included 1-for-1 from deep and 5-for-6 from the free throw line.
As for Las Vegas, four-time and back-to-back league MVP A'ja Wilson was a force, as she posted 31 points on 14-for-24 shooting from the floor, but her 3-for-8 accuracy from the free-throw line hampered the Aces down the stretch. Outside of Wilson, Jackie Young contributed 18 points, but her offensive aggressiveness was somewhat limited due to her five fouls.

As for the Fever, even forcing a decisive Game 5 is still remarkable considering the team's lengthy list of season-ending injuries that includes Sophie Cunningham (torn MCL), Sydney Colson (torn ACL), Aari McDonald (broken bone in foot), Chloe Bibby (knee inflammation/discomfort), and Caitlin Clark (right groin) and having to play all seven postseason games with just 10 healthy players with Damiris Dantas in the league's concussion protocol.
As the series heads back to Sin City for Game 5, Indiana has the opportunity to make its first WNBA Finals appearance since 2015, which ironically coincided with head coach Stephanie White's first season of her first tenure with the franchise.
Sunday's "winner-takes-all" matchup on Tuesday is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. CT tipoff from Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas, with the broadcast crew assignments still to be determined by ESPN.
