During his chat with @EdEastonJr, West Wilson discussed the new Summer House season, the Kansas City Chiefs' AFC West title hopes
This week, Chiefs Wire's Ed Easton Jr. spoke with Bravo TV's Summer House star West Wilson about his partnership with Captain Morgan for The Captain's Challenge, the new podcast, and his thoughts on the Kansas City Chiefs' AFC West title hopes for the season.
"I definitely do, until the (Los Angeles) Chargers prove to me that they can be good from week one to the end of a season, then I don't have faith in them at all. Additionally, I think this offense opens up numerous options once you get your one and two receivers back," said Wilson. "We have three more weeks until it happens. But no, the NFL is a long season, like every year, I feel like it gets longer. They add a game, and we'll see. The one seed, I think I'm okay with letting go of that dream right now, but the AFC West is still wide open."
Kansas City has won nine consecutive division titles, the second-longest streak of division championships in league history. Only the New England Patriots, who won 11 successive AFC East titles from 2009 to 2019, had a longer streak in NFL history.
With "Captain While You Can" as its rallying cry, The Captain's Challenge invites fans to unite their crew and say yes to the unexpected, in-the-moment adventures that turn ordinary game days into unforgettable stories. The rules are easy: spot the challenge, rally your crew, bring home the glory.
Wilson is currently co-hosting a podcast with WNBA star Sophie Cunningham called 'Show Me Something.'
"That's been so fun. I mean, it was the recording episodes. It's so seamless, because it's obviously someone I've known my whole life, but it's been so interesting to get into the WNBA, into the thick of it," said Wilson. A lot of my mentions are filled with WNBA s*** talk, and I would have never pictured myself in that world. It's been fun to be along for that journey and get thrown into the mix of it. Now that the playoffs are here, it's fun to have something else to root for. Sports-wise."
The tenth season of Bravo's Summer House will be premiering soon, and Wilson provided a brief preview of what to expect.
"I'll say there are definitely new people. I think that's a given, just given that some other people had left, but I think it's fun. Like, it's fun, this is the first summer in a long time that I feel like we were, outside," said Wilson, "A really fun summer of just good action, whether that's pool basketball, or going back out, I just felt very fulfilled by the end of summer, which is always good."
Captain Morgan is shaking up football season with The Captain's Challenge, daring fans to rally their crew, embrace the unexpected, and turn game day into the most epic day of the week.
