The San Francisco 49ers put one in the losers' column for the first time this season after dropping their Week 4 game to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

The Niners nearly climbed out of a two-score hole in the fourth quarter but weren't able to put the finishing touches on the comeback. It was a rough performance on both sides of the ball overall.

There were some fireworks after the game, also, as Niners defensive coordinator Robert Saleh and Jaguars head coach Liam Coen got into a heated exchange that stems from Saleh accusing Coen and the Jaguars of legally stealing signs.

While the Niners lost, both the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks won, which means there are three 3-1 teams in the division.

However, San Fran (2-0) remains in first place for now due to their superior win percentage in the division over the Seahawks (1-1) and Rams (0-0).

Here's a full look at the standings entering Week 5.

NFC West standings

1. San Francisco 49ers: 3-1

2. Seattle Seahawks: 3-1

3. Los Angeles Rams: 3-1

4. Arizona Cardinals: 2-2

The Cardinals fell to the Seahawks on Thursday night and sport the worst divisional mark in the NFC West at 0-2. They clearly look like the most inferior team in the division after four games.

In Week 5, the Niners and Rams will have a quick turnaround with a game at SoFi Stadium on Thursday night. The Seahawks are set to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Cardinals host the Tennessee Titans.
