Stevenage boss Alex Revell says the club are going through some "proud days" following their excellent start to the League One season.
Stevenage boss Alex Revell says his in-form side are enjoying "proud days" as they challenge at the top of League One.
Saturday lunchtime's entertaining 3-2 win at Leyton Orient took Stevenage top of the table for a few hours before Bradford City leapfrogged them with victory against Blackpool.
It was Boro's seventh win out of nine in the league so far and a third in their past four games.
"Being hard to beat comes from real hard work from everyone," Revell told BBC Three Counties Radio.
"From number one all the way up to number nine, and when players see rewards from that it's a lot easier to deliver information and sessions.
"They're getting their rewards but we know it's early."

Revell steered Boro to 14th last season in his first full campaign in charge since being reappointed permanent boss in May 2024 following a short interim spell.
He said his side's start to 2025-26 and the support they are getting is very satisfying.
"Seeing the amount of people... my brother came down on the train [for the Orient game] and it was full of Stevenage [fans]," Revell added.
"They're proud days as a manager to watch, with everyone buying into it.
"The people have turned up because of what they've done [the players] and what they've been doing. For the fans to see them work hard for the badge means a lot.
"I've always said we have that in abundance in our group - every single player knows what it takes and when they turn up [the fans] they know they're going to get a team that works hard.
"It may not go our way but it's never for the lack of effort. They have to deliver that."
Next up, Stevenage face an intriguing derby at home against Luton Town, who have made a mixed start following back-to-back relegations from the Premier League to the third tier.
Revell described the prospect of Saturday's game as "incredible" and is hoping his side can carry on their momentum and provide their supporters with more joy.
"When you get your rewards there's nothing like celebrating with people who love this football club," he said. "It's a great feeling and long may that continue."
