The Chicago Bears have signed former Georgia Bulldogs center, who is a 2021 sixth-round NFL draft pick
Former Georgia Bulldogs center/guard Trey Hill is a five-year NFL veteran and has found a new football home. The Chicago Bears have signed Hill to their practice squad.
Hill spent the 2021-2024 NFL seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals and the 2025 NFL training camp with the Green Bay Packers. However, he did not make the Packers' roster this August and was released.
Now, Hill joins the Bears, who really prioritize having a strong offensive line under first-year head coach Ben Johnson. Hill will look to work his way on to Chicago's active roster.
Hill has appeared in 32 career NFL games including three starts. The Bengals drafted Hill in the sixth-round of the 2021 NFL draft.
The 6-foot-4, 320-pound offensive lineman spent the 2024 season as a practice squad player with the Bengals and was elevated for one game last year.
Hill played college football at Georgia from 2018-2020 primarily as a center. He is a former four-star recruit from Warner Robins, Georgia.
