Bish bash bosh, real good nosh
Harry Kane is the man of the hour yet again, producing another brilliant display in Bayern Munich’s 5-1 romping of Cypriot club FC Pafos where he picked up the Man of the Match award to continue his MOTM streak. Speaking after the match, he expressed how easy the match was and talked about his team’s form.
“We made it look easy with the way we played,” Kane beamed (captured via Twitter account @iMiaSanMia). “I wouldn’t be surprised if they [Pafos] get a few points, especially at home. Unfortunately for them they came up against us in a really good moment.”
Harry is spot on with that, and Bayern’s next match will be at home to Eintracht Frankfurt — who got whacked today 5-1 by Atletico Madrid. After that, it is yet another international break before the Bavarians return for Der Klassiker against Borussia Dortmund.
Bayern Munich traveled to Cyprus to face a very feisty and game Pafos FC side in the Champions League and the game, well, went as expected.
The Bavarians dominated from start to finish and received another thoroughly dominant performance from the attacking group. And, yup, Harry Kane had a brace.
Let’s dig into all of the details of the match — this is what we have on tap for this edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works — Postgame Show:
- A look at the starting XI — Vincent Kompany made a couple subtle changes and it worked really well.
- A rundown of the scoring and substitutions.
- Some final thoughts and takeaways on the match.
