Rams vs. 49ers injury report: 2 starters remain sidelined for LA

Rams RT Rob Havenstein and TE Tyler Higbee were non-participants for the second straight day.

The Los Angeles Rams didn’t practice on Monday after just playing a game the day before, taking a lighter approach to the week with a game on Thursday night against the San Francisco 49ers. They did take the field on Tuesday, however, in preparation for their division rivals coming to town two days later.

The injury report could be a lot worse and it’s encouraging to see Steve Avila and Davante Adams both on the upswing after some concerns last week, putting the team at near-full strength in Week 5.

After holding wall-thrus on Tuesday, there was only one change to the Rams’ injury report: Kam Kinchens went from limited to full.

Tyler Higbee and Rob Havenstein were estimated as non-participants. It’s unclear if they’ll be ready for Thursday’s game, but Sean McVay has given no indication that they’re expected to be out.

Tuesday injury report

The 49ers only made two changes to their injury report, with CJ West and Yetur Gross-Matos being upgraded to limited.

Brock Purdy and Ricky spears all both remained out with their respective injuries and are expected to be questionable for Thursday.
