ABBEVILLE, Ala. (WDHN)—After putting on a highlight reel performance, Abbeville’s Kendrick Carter has been named the Week Five Extra Point Player of the Week.
Carter was a man amongst boys in his team’s last matchup against the Barbour County Jaguars, totaling over 400 all-purpose yards and five total touchdowns.
Thanks to his video game-like performance, Carter was able to eclipse one thousand rushing yards on the season, nearing his 2024 season total of 1,200.
Carter will look to build off of this impressive performance when his Yellowjackets go on the road to take on the G.W. Long Rebels on Friday.
