If they move on to the next round, the Cubs first game time might be in the afternoon... or at night.
Major League Baseball released the TV schedule for the first two days of the Division Series today.
Only the first day would involve the Cubs, if they win today and tomorrow, because the NL division series have an off day after Game 1. Don’t ask me why, thats just how they are doing it.
You will not be surprised to learn that the time of a possible Cubs/Brewers Game 1 will be dependent on whether the Yankees move on to the next round:
So, as you can see, Cubs vs. Brewers on Saturday would be in the afternoon if the Yankees advance, at night if the Red Sox advance. Boston leads New York and can close out their Wild Card Series tonight.
