Wednesday’s Saints vs. Giants injury report

Five players were absent for the Saints on Wednesday.

The New Orleans Saints wrapped up their first practice ahead of their Week 5 matchup with the New York Giants. The Saints were without 5 players during Wednesday’s practice, including defensive end Chase Young, who has already been ruled out for Sunday’s matchup as he deals with a calf injury. Tight ends Foster Moreau and Taysom Hill have both returned to practice after being placed on the PUP list before the season started. Tight end Juwan Johnson and Trevor Penning were both at practice, but only observing from the side.

The Giants listed 13 players on Wednesday’s injury report, including both quarterbacks, Jaxson Dart and Russell Wilson. While both were full participants, standout running back Tyrone Tracy was absent with a shoulder injury. Syperstar defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence was also absent as he deals with an illness.
