Chargers-Commanders Wednesday Injury Report: Joe Alt DNP, Mekhi Becton limited

Chargers OT Joe Alt was DNP while OG Mekhi Becton was limited in his return from a concussion.

The Chargers have dropped their first injury report of Week Five and there’s luckily few surprises, if at all, to be had.

Left tackle Joe Alt unsurprisingly was a non-participant on Wednesday with his ankle injury he sustained early on against the Giants. Alt told reporters that he has not been given a timeline on his return and Jim Harbaugh is still unsure on whether or not Alt will be placed on IR.

Joining Alt as DNP was wide receiver Keenan Allen who enjoyed a veteran’s rest day off while return man Derius Davis remained out with a knee injury.

Right guard Mekhi Becton (concussion), tight end Will Dissly, safety Derwin James (glute), and cornerback Tarheeb Still (ankle) were all limited. Becton starting the week off working to the side is still a positive sign after he missed Week Four entirely.

Lastly, backup center Andre James was a full participant with what’s being labeled a neck injury.
