The weeks first injury report.
The Kentucky Wildcats are coming off a brutal loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks last week, and as life in the SEC normally is, this coming week is twice as hard.
Mark Stoops and his squad are gearing up for a date with Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens on Saturday as they look to go out and compete to get some type of momentum on their side.
Well, with the first injury report, it appears that the Cats might get a few Week 1 starters back this Saturday.
Quarterback Zach Calzada has been deemed as probable for Saturday’s game after sitting at the questionable mark the majority of the last two weeks. It appears Cutter Boley will be the guy, but don’t be shocked to see Calzada get some run in the redshirt freshman QB struggles once again in Athens.
On the defensive side, the Cats are hoping to get DJ Waller back this week. In the first injury report, he landed a questionable designation. That is positive compared to last week when he was at the doubtful mark before being ruled out.
The Cats are going to need a lot to go their way. Let’s hope getting Waller back in the mix at cornerback is one of them.
