Recent form

Ange Postecoglou has yet to win a game since taking over at Forest, who were beaten 1-0 by Sunderland in their last match and are winless in their last seven.

Midtjylland beat Sturm Graz in their first game of the league stage of the Europa League and have won the last four in all competitions.

What’s been said?

Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White: “The way to the top isn’t always beautiful and it’s not always glory.

“You’ve seen in the past month-and-a-half here, we’ve had a change in manager and there’s been a lot that’s happened within the club.

“We’ve been through the relegation times. We had a great season last season and we’re in Europe now. But this is what comes with trying to get to the top. You’re always going to have blips. I feel like as a team, when we get that first win (under Postecoglou) we’ll be a team that’s unstoppable.

“The new manager has come in and he’s got his ideas and his beliefs, and you have to straight away jump on board with that. He’s taken well to the group and we’ve taken well to him. We believe in him and his ideas. He’s well respected within the group.”

Forest boss Ange Postecoglou: “When I analyse the games I see they’re doing so many things right and in a normal course of events we could have been sitting here and I don’t think anyone would begrudge us if we’d won all those games.

“Apart from the Arsenal game I don’t think anyone would have said we were lucky if we had won those games.

“There’s so many positive signs and I think the players, they’re not silly they see that and they understand that but I want them to get the rewards for their hard work.”
