The Georgia Bulldogs are missing four players for the Kentucky Wildcats home game on Saturday at noon ET
The Georgia Bulldogs (3-1) will be without four players on Saturday, Oct. 4 (noon ET kickoff) against the Kentucky Wildcats (2-2).
Georgia is healthier than Kentucky, who is missing at least six players. The Wildcats also have three players that are questionable and one player that is probable. Georgia has no players that are questionable or probable.
The Bulldogs will most notably be missing All-SEC offensive tackle Earnest Greene, who is a battling a lower body injury against the Wildcats. Greene played some snaps against Tennessee, but was forced to leave that game and then missed the Alabama game despite Georgia having a bye week for him to get healthier.
Georgia is expected to be without freshman tight end Ethan Barbour for the remainder of the 2025 college football season after he suffered a significant ankle injury. The Bulldogs are looking to get back on track against Kentucky after their first home game since 2019 against Alabama last week.
Georgia coach Kirby Smart expects that the Kentucky game will be a physical affair for both teams.
"It's always the most physical game when we play these guys," Smart said. "I think because philosophically they believe in running the ball, we believe in running the ball. Those two things hit head-to-head when we play them."
