Chelsea will welcome Liverpool at Stamford Bridge this Saturday evening as they look to earn a victory at home in the Premier League. The Blues managed to earn a narrow 1-0 win over Benfica earlier this week, which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.
Enzo Maresca will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first team for this contest. Reece James, Josh Acheampong and Estevao could all play from the start of this game.
4-2-3-1 Chelsea Predicted Lineup To Face Liverpool
Defence
Robert Sanchez will operate in goal for the West London club after keeping a clean sheet in his last appearance. Josh Acheampong will function alongside Benoit Badiashile at the centre of Maresca’s defence as they hope to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.
Reece James will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Marc Cucurella hopes to keep Mohamed Salah quiet as the left-back. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties well if Chelsea are to keep a clean sheet this weekend.
Jorrel Hato will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield
Enzo Fernandez will anchor the midfield alongside Moises Caicedo as they try to make life tough for the opposition at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Pedro Neto, Facundo Buonanotte and Estevao will play just ahead of them as part of the Chelsea attack. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to engineer enough chances for the Blues to win this contest versus Arne Slot’s men.
Jamie Gittens and Romeo Lavia will have to be content with a place on the bench as they await their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Attack
Joao Pedro will lead the charge for the Blues in the final third. He would be keen on getting his name on the scoresheet against the Reds this Saturday evening.
Marc Guiu will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his opportunity to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if the Blues are in need of a goal by then.
