Eric Garcia has become a key player for Barcelona under Hansi Flick, with the German coach a big admirer of the 24-year-old’s versatility.
Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be keen on Eric and are monitoring his situation at Barcelona with interest, according to Diario Sport.
Garcia is into the final year of his contract, and the Ligue 1 side are well aware that they could open talks with the Spain star in January if his situation remains the same.
Manager Luis Enrique knows Garcia well and thinks it could be a good market opportunity to land him on a free transfer in 2026.
The chances of that look fairly slim, it has to be said. Garcia’s priority is to stay at Barcelona and does seem to be in negotiations over a new deal.
Deco has said “we are talking” when quizzed about his situation in a recent interview, and his new contract is thought to be one of the club’s priorities right now.
