SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — South Dakota State men’s basketball hosted a “Fore the Jacks” golf event at Great Shots on Thursday evening in Sioux Falls.
Fans had the opportunity to meet the team, get some autographs, enjoy some food, and hit some golf balls with the team ahead of the 2025 season.
“We love the fans down here,” Jackrabbits head coach Bryan Petersen said. “Obviously the conference tournament is here so having the chance to get down here and spend some time with them, get to meet us and our players, spend some great time together has been a lot of fun.”
“I love golf so I think this will be my favorite event so far,” junior guard Kalen Garry said. “Just getting to hit some balls, have supper with our supporters.”
The Jacks will open their season with an exhibition at home against Mayville State on October 29.
