Browns prep for Vikings could see weather impact, forecast for Sunday clear

Browns practice on Friday, especially due to injuries, could see changes due to weather but Sunday’s game looks clear

The Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings are both dealing with a variety of variables heading into their Week 5 matchup in London. The injury report is concerning for the Vikings, as their offensive line has been decimated during the first quarter of the 2025 NFL season. The Browns travel schedule, change of quarterback and general struggles on offense have led to low expectations.

Cleveland’s schedule allowed rookie QB Dillon Gabriel to take the reins of the offense on Wednesday from Berea, Ohio, before the team flew out. On Thursday, the tired Browns had a walkthrough from The Grove in London.

As is often true in England, rain came in on Friday and the radar says it will continue through Cleveland’s only practice in London.

With a number of injury concerns and an unknown field, the Browns are likely to be cautious for their hour-long practice, which limits the ability for Gabriel and his receivers to work on timing at full speed, as noted by Arif Hasan, who covers the Vikings and is in London as well:

The current forecast for Sunday’s game is cloudy with moderate temperatures, but as is true in Ohio, things can change quickly in the United Kingdom.

Following practice, we will hear from HC Kevin Stefanski and are expecting to talk to Gabriel, among other Browns players. The team was expected to host a community flag football event following practice, but that could be impacted by the weather.

We will keep you up to date, live from London, throughout the early afternoon (London time)/morning (Ohio time), Friday.
