For weeks, one of the main absentees at San Siro has not been a player but the tifosi itself. The Curva Nord protest had left Inter Milan without their twelfth man, creating a silence that was noticeable to everyone inside the Meazza.

Even coach Cristian Chivu underlined how much the team relies on its supporters:

“There is a need for a Curva that encourages the team… They are human beings, they have problems and a sensitivity,” he said.

Now the situation appears to be changing.

According to FCInter1908, the Milan police headquarters have approved the banner to be placed in the Curva Nord section of the second tier.

This crucial step opens the door for the organised support to return.

While there was hope that the tifosi could be back already for Inter vs Cremonese, the confirmation suggests the comeback will take place against Fiorentina at San Siro.

The long-awaited chants and colours of the Curva Nord are finally ready to fill the stadium once again.

Their return will not only restore the atmosphere inside the stadium but also provide a psychological boost to the players as they navigate a crucial run of fixtures.

For Inter, having the Curva Nord back in full voice could prove decisive in maintaining momentum both in Serie A and in Europe.
