The Tampa Bay Buccaneers can't seem to stay healthy.
Just last week, Chris Godwin and Tristan Wirfs returned to action. But they lost Mike Evans to injury the week before, and now the latest Bucky Irving injury news isn't good.
Irving, the star running back, "is expected to miss Sunday's game" against the Seattle Seahawks, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Fowler goes on to write that Irving could miss the Week 6 matchup with the San Francisco 49ers, too.

The good news for the Buccaneers is that their RB depth chart has some serious talent on it.
Rachaad White is the favorite to step in as the lead back with Irving out. White was the starter before Irving's arrival, and this will be his chance to prove he's still got it.
Supplementing White will likely be Sean Tucker. The former Syracuse star has been efficient with his NFL touches when given the opportunity in occasional regular season work and ample preseason time. He actually might fit the mold of traditional early-down back better than White, so there's a slight chance Tucker sees substantial work.

Behind them, the Buccaneers are expected to keep Josh Williams active as a third RB, per Fowler.
Irving's absence will still sting, though. He took the NFL by storm in 2024 and is a multi-faceted back that helps the Bucs move the chains in a variety of ways.
Without him, it definitely becomes more of a committee backfield, which can work but can be bumpier.
The Seahawks should provide a solid test for Tampa Bay, and the Buccaneers will have to figure out how to handle that without Irving.
