Chichester City's FA Trophy match at home against Farnham Town on Saturday is set to go ahead.
Chichester City FC says its FA Trophy game against Farnham Town on Saturday will go ahead following the death of Billy Vigar.
The former Arsenal academy striker died at the age of 21 on 25 September after several days in an induced coma following a "significant brain injury" during an away match at Wingate and Finchley FC on 20 September.
A Chichester City spokesperson said: "Billy, his family, friends, teammates, matchday staff and everyone associated with the club have been in our thoughts as we have considered this.
"As a group, we will return to the pitch together and honour Billy."
It was thought the injury was caused when he collided with a concrete wall, but the club has not confirmed this.
The Football Association said it would carry out an immediate safety review of perimeter walls at football grounds in the National League system.
Chichester City has invited fans to come to the match on Saturday to "join us in paying tribute to Billy".
It will be the club's first game back after Vigar's death, as its previous match against Lewes was postponed.
Vigar was a graduate of the Arsenal academy, leaving the club in 2024, and also had spells at Derby County, Eastbourne Borough and Hastings United.
Tributes were made by his former clubs and Arsenal held a minute's applause before their Champions League game in London against Greek side Olympiacos on Wednesday.
