New York Jets vs. Dallas Cowboys: 3 key matchups to watch in Week 5

Here are 3 matchups to watch in Week 5 between the Jets and Cowboys.

The New York Jets will host the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium in Week 5.

For this cross-conference battle between Aaron Glenn's Jets (0-4) and Brian Schottenheimer's Cowboys (1-2-1), it will be the games, within the game, that will make all the difference.

Here are Jets Wire's three key matchups to watch during Sunday's Jets vs. Cowboys matchup:

WR Garrett Wilson vs. CB Kaiir Elam

The Cowboys have the worst secondary in the NFL. They have allowed more yards in the air than any team in the league this season. If Wilson does not have a big game, something is wrong.

CB Sauce Gardner vs. WR George Pickens

Pickens will be the go-to guy for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

There have been some doubters of Gardner. This is the time he should step up.

DT Quinnen Williams vs. OL Tyler Smith

Smith is dealing with a knee injury.

Williams is the Jets' best player on defense.

Enough said.
