It’s Friday night, the fireworks are going off over at Harrison High School for Friday Night Lights, The Life of a Showgirl taught us more than we probably wanted to know about Travis Kelce, and you’ve hopefully settled down for the night and gotten everything packed up for your tailgate tomorrow morning. Now me? I’m settled in with my laptop and Friday Night Smackdown. Time to check in on the weekly survey results.

First up, we asked how many Big Ten wins the men’s basketball team would have this season. It’s a pretty straightforward question. So let’s see what you all thought.

An incredible 22% of fans think that Purdue will do something that has never been done and win all 20 of their conference games this season. No Big Ten team has finished with more than 17 wins in this 20 game era. It would be truly incredible if Purdue did that. Next up though was 16-19 games with 74%. That win total would almost assuredly result in Purdue winning the conference.

Then, we talked about tomorrow afternoon’s game against the visitors from Illinois. Purdue is trying to get their third win of the season against a team that has given Purdue some pretty entertaining games in recent years. Ryan Browne played his best game of his career (probably) last year against Illinois. Can he do it again this season and take down a ranked opponent?

With only two choices on this one there was going to be a majority answer and surprising to me was that 54% of respondents thought that Purdue will ultimately come out the winner of tomorrow’s contest. Let’s hope hat 54% is right and Purdue brings home the Cannon!
