The Georgia Bulldogs host the Kentucky Wildcats at noon on Saturday, Oct. 4 in an SEC clash between two teams that are looking to get back on track
The No. 10 Georgia Bulldogs host the unranked Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday, Oct. 4 as both teams look to bounce back after losing last week. Georgia (3-1, 1-1 in SEC) is coming off a 24-21 home loss to Alabama in primetime. Kentucky suffered a tough 35-13 road loss to South Carolina.
The Georgia-Kentucky game will serve as an opportunity for both teams to find some positive momentum. Georgia has a 15-game winning streak in the series and Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops is 0-12 against the Bulldogs during his career including 0-9 against Georgia coach Kirby Smart.
Stoops and Kentucky have a physical team that prefers to run the football and does not like facing obvious passing situations. The Wildcats have the SEC's worst passing attack at 159.0 yards per game and run the ball on 63.4% of plays.
Georgia will also look to impose their will on Kentucky in the run game. The Bulldogs have the fourth-best rushing offense in the SEC at 213.5 yards per game.

Georgia vs Kentucky predictions, picks, odds

- Spread: GEORGIA by 20 1/2
- Over/under: 48 1/2
- Moneyline: Georgia minus-1400, Kentucky plus-800
Prediction: This game feels like one that could be a sleepwalk for Georgia to start. Bulldog fans won't be as amped up for a noon game as they were for the Alabama game, but the players should be excited to have a chance to prove themselves again.
Kentucky is a physical team that wants to run the ball. Things went off the rails for the Wildcats against South Carolina (four turnovers -- two of which were returned for touchdowns). We think Kentucky will shorten the game and keep it low scoring, but the Wildcats just don't have enough firepower to beat Georgia even though we have them covering.
Prediction: Georgia 24, Kentucky 13
