There was some concern over Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels' knee after an injury update from head coach Dan Quinn, but Daniels' mother has put that concern to bed.

The Washington Commanders will finally be getting star quarterback Jayden Daniels back in Week 5.

Daniels missed the last two games with a knee sprain and the Commanders went 1-1 in his absence. However, the former No. 2 overall pick has been cleared to return to the field, which is a huge sigh of relief for the 2-2 Commanders.

But that doesn't mean all fears about Daniels' knee have been put to bed, at least in the eyes of fans, who were concerned about the second-year signal-caller after head coach Dan Quinn revealed he would be playing with a knee brace.

"Dan Quinn said Jayden Daniels had a great week. Quinn said Daniels will need to wear a brace on his left knee Sunday," ESPN's John Keim reported.

That led to concerns that Daniels still isn't 100%, but thankfully his mom has put that to bed.

"Guys relax," Daniels' mom wrote on social media. "He's fine."

If mom isn't worried, we shouldn't be, either.

Daniels returns to the lineup on Sunday without his No. 1 target, as wide receiver Terry McLaurin has been ruled out for the second straight game due to a quad problem.

McLaurin did show a bit of progress this week after he was outside with the team during stretch period, marking the first time he has been seen since his injury.

With McLaurin and Noah Brown both ruled out, it's going to be a heavy dose of Deebo Samuel, who has been better than expected this season. Samuel was on Washington's injury report this week but was removed on Friday.

The Commanders will square off with the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, with kickoff set for 4:25 p.m. ET.
