Liverpool were easily the biggest spenders of the summer transfer window as they invested almost £450m on new signings.
They won the Premier League last season and bolstered their roster with the inclusion of players like Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez, Alexander Isak, Jeremie Frimpong, Giovanni Leoni and Armin Pecsi while Freddie Woodman joined the club on a free transfer.
They broke the British transfer record twice, firstly while signing Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen and later broke it again for Isak on deadline to lure him away from Newcastle United.
However, amid all their new signing it is Ekitike, who has flourished the most and has adapted to life at Anfield with aplomb.
The Frenchman has been the most consistent goal scorer for the Reds this season as he has netted five goals and provided a solitary assist in nine appearances across competitions.
He has scored thrice in five Premier League games this season and has looked really threatening when leading the lines.

Recently, the former Eintracht Frankfurt forward sat down for an interview where he discussed about his Liverpool switch and also spoke about his bond with Salah.
"The first feeling was that I was proud," Ekitike told BBC Sport when asked about his feeling when his Liverpool move eventually happened. "To come here when I know where I come from. I know football is just moments - you can be at the top and go down straight. I set my mind to always be ready, work hard, improve myself and bring success to the team and help the maximum way I can to reach trophies and wins."
The 23-year-old also spoke about his failed stint at PSG where he struggled to establish himself and eventually moved out to Frankfurt.
"Becoming a good player is the biggest turning point in my life. That was the first moment in my life that I have known failure. It was probably half-time and it set me to be more tough in the head. I am different since I went to Paris. I am a way better player and better human. I have changed so much."
What did Ekitike say about Liverpool stalwart Mohamed Salah?
Ekitike has had a phenomenal start to life at Liverpool, and he has received a lot of praise for his camaraderie with Salah especially during the link-up plays in the final third.

The Frenchman was asked about the Egyptian icon and he only had great things to say about the veteran, "Really good. Mo is a really cool guy, he is really open with me and is really good to talk too. He is great to play with. I was watching him on TV when he was scoring the goals and stuff but he is a really great athlete. You can just improve yourself and learn from him. It is good to share the pitch with him and I hope we are going to score lots of goals and bring some wins to the team together.
"He is very cool. More cool than what I have seen on TV because sometimes you see straight face and stuff so I thought he was cold... someone who doesn't talk a lot. He is really open, like all of the guys here. They are really open and want me to adapt to the team."
Liverpool won their first five league games in the Premier League this season and were off to a flying start until Crystal Palace defeated the Reds in the last weekend.
Since then, they have lost to Galatasaray away from home in Champions League and will look to bounce back against Chelsea this Saturday.
