Blades Brown, 18, shoots 60 on the Korn Ferry Tour at the Patriot Club in Oklahoma

You have to wonder how much longer till Blades Brown is on the PGA Tour, with the numbers he's posting on the development circuit.

He turned pro at age 17 but with the numbers he's posting on Korn Ferry Tour, you have to wonder how much longer till he's on the PGA Tour.

On Friday, Blades Brown, now 18, carded a 60 in the 2025 Compliance Solutions Championship at the Patriot Golf Club in Owasso, Oklahoma. Going low is nothing new for him.

After easing into his round with three pars and a birdie on his first four holes, Brown caught fire, going birdie-birdie-eagle-birdie-birdie to make the turn in 29. He then made birdie at No. 10, putting him 7 under over a six-hole stretch, and he then closed with four birdies on his last five holes. A bogey on the par-4 fourth (his 13th hole of the day) kept him from breaking into sub-60 territory.

The Korn Ferry Tour is where low scores are the norm but still, a 60, a score that put him into a tie for second after 36 holes, is impressive.

Blades Brown hits his tee shot on the 16th hole during the second round of the 2025 Compliance Solutions Championship at The Patriot Golf Club.

"I actually set two personal bests today," he said after his round Friday. "I don't think I ever shot 7 under on nine holes, and then I shot 11 under today, which that's my personal best. I shot 10 a couple of times, but I was actually, I was thinking on the first tee I was like dang, par-3 hole No. 9, if this goes in it's 59. I mean, I'm super happy with the 60, which by the way that was really surprising to see how low the scores are. This is not an easy golf course. I just think you put professionals on a course with no wind, I mean, get ready for the birdies."

Brown's goal this week, besides winning, is to stay inside the top 75 for the KFT season finale next week. He was 72nd coming in and has improved five spots so far.
