Alexis Sánchez spent three seasons with Barcelona between 2011 and 2014, making well over 100 appearances and scoring close to 50 goals, but he has now come back to haunt them.
The veteran Chilean forward was the coolest man in the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium when he slotted past Wojciech Szczęsny from the penalty spot in the 13th minute.
It was his second goal for Sevilla since signing for the club in the summer, and could prove to be a vital one.
