Erling Haaland has admitted he has never felt better after scoring his ninth Premier League goal of the season to help City to a 1-0 victory over Brentford.
Our No.9 fired us ahead after just nine minutes, showing his pace and strength to hold off Sepp van den Berg and rifle into the net.
Haaland has now scored at 22 of the 23 stadiums he's played at in the Premier League and has scored in nine consecutive appearances for club and country (6 in 2 for Norway, 10 in 7 for City), which is the longest scoring run of his top-flight or international career.
After the game, the striker was asked if he is in the form of his life and he said: "You can say so, I’ve never felt better than I do now. So yeah you can say so.
"I think it’s about preparation first of all, getting ready for the games. You can be physically ready but you need to be mentally ready as well.
"And to be honest I think with a kid, it makes me even better because I actually disconnect more than ever. I don’t think of football at all which sometimes when you’re younger you think of this and that and maybe worry a little bit about things. But when I go home I relax even more so I think I need to give a shoutout to my son!
"It was a tough game and it reminded me a bit about Stoke City with Rory Delap 15 years ago. It was lovely to win and important.
"They’re huge and do throw-ins from the middle so of course it’s not easy but it’s about preparing and being ready for what is going to come and analyse good, and we did. We have a great backroom staff that did their job really well so all praise to them.
"I think there is always space even when people are low. You just need right timing. I like when people come like this against us as well. Low block is not easy with three big centre backs and two people in front of them, five people around us at all times. That’s why it’s not easy and that’s why it feels even better."

Haaland had a fascinating battle with Van den Berg for the entire 90 minutes at the Gtech Community Stadium and the league's top scorer revealed he relishes a physical test, because it motivates him to play even better.
"First five minutes he just kept on pushing me so I said alright, let’s have it. So then I started pushing him back.
"For me this is a proper goal. This goal for me is top. This is for me one of my better goals.
"I think it helps me because I was a bit tired before the game, going into the game I was thinking it’s going to be tough. Then after 10 seconds he started pushing me and it motivates me.
"All praise to him honestly, he made me want to do that. "
