Coventry City forward Brandon Thomas-Asante is called into the Ghana squad for their forthcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Coventry City forward Brandon Thomas-Asante has received a late call-up into the Ghana squad for their two forthcoming World Cup qualifiers.
The 26-year-old will replace the injured Inaki Williams, who picked up a knock playing for Athletic Bilbao against Mallorca in La Liga at the weekend.
Thomas-Asante, who scored twice for Coventry in Saturday's 5-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday to move the Sky Blues top of the Championship, has made four appearances for the senior Ghana team.
Ghana face Central African Republic and Comoros, needing four points to guarantee qualification for next year's World Cup finals in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
