Oregon Ducks remain among national title betting favorites after Week 6 bye

After a wild week in college football, let's take a look at where the Oregon Ducks land in the updated national title odds.

While the Oregon Ducks enjoyed a well-earned bye in Week 6 after five straight wins to kick off the season, college football decided to have its wildest week yet.

Both Penn State and Texas (No. 6 and 7 in the Week 6 coaches poll) fell in surprising fashion. The Nittany Lions, who's national title odds took a hit a week prior after their loss to the Ducks, were taken down by the previously 0-4 UCLA Bruins. Nico Iamaleava — who appeared in the College Football Playoff with the Tennessee Volunteers last season — looked like his old self in leading the upset win.

Meanwhile, the Longhorns were defeated by Florida, preserving head coach Billy Napier's job for one more week. Once again, Texas quarterback Arch Manning looked out of sorts, unable to live up to the sky high expectations placed upon him.

Elsewhere, Alabama won convincingly against previously undefeated Vanderbilt and placed themselves back in the national title conversation. Miami, thanks to the play of quarterback Carson Beck, went into Florida State and dominated the Seminoles, raising their national title odds as well.

Let's take a look at the entire national title odds picture (per FanDuel Sportsbook) after the conclusion of Week 6.
