ESPN analyst Jason discussed the viral moment with his brother, Travis, and coach Reid in a pre-taped interview on Monday. Jason began by asking Reid about his coaching technique and how he gets players to respect him.

Reid calmly reasoned that he respects the fact that there are different players with varying temperaments, coupled with a passion for the game, which brings out the best in everyone. Hence, you have to let players express themselves freely for them to shine and do their best.

“Each guy shines his own shine. And some of them shine a little brighter,” Reid added while holding Travis’ arm to show all is well between the duo, in spite of their recent verbal spat on the field.

In typical big brother fashion, Jason Kelce recounted a childhood incident about his and Travis’ dad, Papa Kelce, telling their teachers at school “to hit this kid if he gets out of line.” Notably, “This” kid refers to Travis Kelce here.

The ESPN analyst reiterated that coach Reid has the family’s hundred percent backing and permission to coach and discipline Travis the way he wishes. “That’s exactly what you told me at the draft,” coach Reid responded, showcasing the sweet camaraderie he shares with the Kelce brothers.

Travis Kelce and coach Andy Reid’s heated verbal exchange on the field sparked concerns about their personal relationship and made fans, particularly Taylor Swift’s fans, concerned about Travis’ anger issues.

However, Travis and Reid clarified in numerous interviews and press interactions that all is well between them and that any exchange on the field is simply in the heat of the moment.
