Daniele Adani has praised Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio for purchasing Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma this summer.

During the recent episode of VIva El Futbol via FCInterNews, Adani underlined his confidence in the 21-year-old’s attacking qualities.

Inter Milan signed Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma for a reported fee of €25 million in June.

Moreover, the French striker had previously worked with new Inter boss Cristian Chivu at Stadio Ennio Tardini.

Therefore, Inter’s decision to bring him to San Siro made perfect sense.

Meanwhile, Inter struggled with backup strikers last season.

Indeed, Marko Arnautovic, Mehdi Taremi, and Joaquin Correa flopped in their last year in Serie A.

As a result, the Nerazzurri cut ties with all three immediately after the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

However, Francesco Pio Esposito and Bonny have significantly elevated the quality of Inter’s frontline this season.

Bonny was unplayable in Saturday’s 4-1 thumping of Cremonese, scoring in his first Serie A start for the club.

Adani hailed Ausilio’s decision to purchase Bonny despite the Frenchman’s limited experience in Serie A.

“I like Bonny. I have much more respect for him than others do,” he stated. “He’s a great call by Ausilio. He can play, score, and combine with his teammates.

“Beyond the opponent, Chivu’s choice has proven right.

“At a time when everyone is pushing for Pio, Bonny steps up. Hard work helps develop intuition.”

Then, Adani waxed lyrical about Inter’s dominant performance against Cremonese.

“Inter responded well, and the match was even more manageable than the one against Slavia,” he added.

“If you don’t challenge them, Inter won’t let you see the ball.

“The players know each other, and even the newcomers are guided by the experience and skill of the established players.”

“Over the years, the squad rotates, and everyone gets minutes. Inter remains a credible team.”
