It’s already past the halfway point for regular season high school football in the state of Arkansas.

Several squads were able to earn momentum heading into the back half of regular season play with huge wins, with certain players coming up with key contributions.

Here, now, is a look at the top performers from Week 5. Also, readers can now vote on who they think should be the Arkansas Player of the Week.

Kane Archer, Greenwood

The Bulldogs’ senior quarterback, a UCF commit, completed 22-of-27 passes for 235 yards with a TD while adding 160 yards on 13 carries and four scores in the Bulldogs’ 50-13 win at Russellville.

Cameron Badewell, Gravette

Badewell completed 5-of-6 passes for 139 yards and three TDs in the Lions’ 55-7 win against Green Forest.

Cohen Beach, Shiloh Christian

Beach hauled in five receptions for 139 yards and two TDs in the Saints’ 55-41 win against Mountain Home.

Jacquel Brown, Farmington

Brown recorded 12 tackles, a tackle for loss and a sack in the Cardinals’ 37-14 win at Harrison.

TJ Brown, Jonesboro

Brown rushed for 113 yards on 21 carries and three TDs and also caught a 20-yard pass for another score in the Hurricane’s 48-42 win at Sheridan.

Andrew Burton, Mansfield

A senior fullback, Burton rushed for 193 yards on 30 carries and scored three touchdowns as the Tigers outlasted Charleston, 32-27, in a key 3A-1 Conference tilt.

Cade Capp, Ozark

Capp completed all seven of his pass attempts for 171 yards and two TDs in the Hillbillies’ 71-7 win at Dover.

Blake Coughran, Prairie Grove

In the Tigers’ 50-13 win against Huntsville, Coughran rushed for 111 yards on 16 carries and found the end zone three times.

Cooper Cox, Salem

Cox rushed for two TDs and returned a kickoff 79 yards for another score in the Greyhounds’ 69-12 win against Little Rock Episcopal.

Titus Cramer, Rogers

Cramer rushed for 110 yards on 18 carries with a TD and also returned a kickoff 94 yards for another score in the Mounties’ wild 56-55 win at Fayetteville.

Dylan Dean, Lonoke

Dean completed 10-of-12 passes for 143 yards and three TDs in the Jackrabbits’ 47-12 win against Bald Knob.

Conner Droemer, Booneville

Droemer rushed for 127 yards on just six carries and had three TDs as the Bearcats defeated Hackett, 42-12.

Kyle Farquharson, Greenland

Farquharson rushed for 153 yards on 20 carries and three TDs and added 50 yards receiving in the Pirates’ 35-0 win against Cedarville.

Jordan Harris, Maumelle

Harris, a senior defensive end, recorded nine tackles, including eight for loss, and also came up with five sacks in the Hornets’ 21-7 win against Pine Bluff.

TJ Hodges, Bryant

Hodges rushed for 210 yards on 15 carries and had two TDs in the Hornets’ 49-21 win against Little Rock Christian.

Isaiah Howell, Sylvan Hills

Howell rushed for 179 yards and two TDs, including a 62-yard jaunt in the final two minutes to lift the Bears to a 40-35 win at Benton.

Tay Lockett, Conway

Lockett recorded eight total tackles, forced a fumble and had a 24-yard pick-six in the Wampus Cats’ 31-7 win against North Little Rock.

Cain Price, Stuttgart

Price completed 14-of-19 passes for 258 yards and four TDs while adding a rushing TD as the Ricebirds moved to 5-0 after a 58-20 win against Crossett.

Jeremy Samuel, El Dorado

A senior tailback, Samuel rushed for 100 yards and scored three TDs, including one from 64 yards out, to lift the Wildcats to a 28-21 win at Marion.

Dalton Stockton, Prescott

Stockton completed 9-of-13 passes for 147 yards and three TDs as the Curley Wolves defeated Horatio, 55-0.

Carter Wallace, Valley View

Wallace rushed for 129 yards on 14 carries and had two TDs in the Blazers’ 27-0 win against Harding Academy.

VJ Warren, Bentonville West

A sophomore, Warren returned the opening kickoff 96 yards for a TD in the Wolverines’ 48-12 win against Springdale. But his night was only getting started, as he ended up with 115 yards rushing on 12 carries and two TDs along with five catches for 99 yards - including an 82-yard TD reception.

Kevin “Deuce” Williams, Pulaski Robinson

Williams rushed for 214 yards on 19 carries and had four TDs to help lead the Senators to a 42-7 win against Jacksonville.

Hayden Williford, Van Buren

The Pointers’ QB completed 22-of-32 passes for 309 yards and two TDs and also added a rushing TD in the Pointers’ 38-0 win at Siloam Springs.

Jayden Young, Rivercrest

A senior, Young was a perfect 7-of-7 passing for 83 yards and also rushed for 152 yards on 19 carries and three TDs as the Colts downed Newport, 48-38.

Peyton Zimmerman, Fort Smith Southside

Zimmerman caught six passes for 104 yards and two TDs while adding 48 yards on kickoff returns as the Mavericks outlasted Lake Hamilton, 49-44.
