Raiders updated Week 6 depth chart after Germaine Pratt release

The Raiders first depth chart is out following the release of LB Germaine Pratt. Who gets the start in his place?

When suddenly it was announced that starting LB Germaine Pratt didn't make the trip to Indianapolis with the Raiders last weekend, you knew something was up. Especially when they made it clear it was not injury related.

A day after the game, Pete Carroll announced the team had released the veteran linebacker. Just four games into his one-year, $4.8 million deal, he was out.

Tuesday, the team put out their depth chart for their Week six matchup with the Titans with Pratt not on it.

Replacing Pratt as the starting outside linebacker is Jamal Adams.

The former safety joined the Raiders at the start of training camp, immediately switching to linebacker. He made a lot of plays in preseason and earned some good playing time over the first few weeks with his snap counts rising over the past couple weeks. And if he takes over Pratt's snaps, he could see upwards of 75% of the team's defensive snaps when the Titans come to town this Sunday.

The Raiders didn't start three linebackers last Sunday with Pratt out. Instead going with three defensive tackles. Pete Carroll said the combo of Malcolm Koonce and Charles Snowden could also see some of the snaps that would have gone to Pratt.
