Browns PFF Grades: Which Cleveland defenders had the best performance in London?

Reviewing the top PFF graded Cleveland Browns players from their Week 5 defeat against the Minnesota Vikings in London:

The Cleveland Browns’ defense had another solid performance in Week 5, though this time it ended in a defeat against the Minnesota Vikings in London.

One player who stood out was defensive end Alex Wright, who had a career day against the Vikings’ offense. Along with his impressive box score, Wright finished with a team-high 91.1 elite PFF grade and an equally strong 89.1 run-defense grade. To no surprise, other Browns defensive linemen also starred in this week’s PFF grades. Players like Isaiah McGuire, Maliek Collins, and others had very impressive outings. They accounted for four of the five highest overall grades on the Browns’ defense in Week 5.

The Browns’ linebacker room also had a productive day from its starters against Minnesota’s offense. Linebacker Devin Bush turned in a solid performance with a 65.9 overall grade, but his most impressive category was his 79.5 tackling grade. Fellow linebacker Carson Schwesinger also had another productive day for the fifth straight game, collecting a 63.7 overall grade along with his team-leading 12 tackles. The secondary had a day it will need to put behind it, but safety Grant Delpit was one playmaker who delivered a solid performance to build on next week. Delpit earned a 75.7 overall PFF grade and an impressive 81.9 tackling grade against some elite Vikings pass catchers.
