Bill Belichick says he’s committed to North Carolina football.

In short statements released to social media on Wednesday night, North Carolina looked to tamp down discussion surrounding the program after its 2-3 start.

“I’m fully committed to UNC football and the program we’re building here,” Belichick said in the statement.

Meanwhile, athletic director Bubba Cunningham gave Belichick a vote of confidence.

“Coach Belichick has the full support of the Department of Athletics and the University,” Cunningham said.
