Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has made up his mind over a possible 2026 exit.

The Red Devils remain mired in a form crisis so far this season after 2024/25 ended as their worst-ever Premier League campaign, finishing in 15th position in the final rankings.

Ruben Amorim's future is also in doubt as the Portuguese coach approaches his one-year anniversary at Old Trafford in November.

Despite the rocketing speculation over Amorim being moved on, the saga has taken a key twist during the international break, with co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe delivering a bold vote of confidence for the 40-year-old.

Ratcliffe has looked to calm the noise surrounding Amorim and claimed he deserves "to demonstrate he's a great coach over three years."

Alongside fresh faith in the boss, Fernandes is also ready to reject any departure package put forward, amid renewed interest from the Saudi Pro League.

Fernandes admitted he received an offer from the Middle East last summer, but turned it down after consideration, amid rumours United were open to a deal.

As per the latest from talkSPORT, Fernandes has no interest in leaving Manchester in January, but there is the potential of the situation being revived after the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Fernandes' current United salary is set at around £280,000-a-week [£378,000].

That would rise to around £700,000 [$945,000]tax-free as part of a package worth up to £200m [$270m] over three years including bonuses.

Cristiano Ronaldo is rumoured to be keen on an Al Nassr reunion with his Portugal teammate, but United are still prepared to demand £50m [$67m] for the 31-year-old, despite his contract expiring in 2027.
