Megha Ganne tops new LPGA ranking system that gives Epson status to college players

The top 10 players on the Final LCAP Ranking will receive Epson Tour status.

The LPGA recently launched its new LPGA Collegiate Advancement Pathway (LCAP) ranking system, and Stanford's Megha Ganne tops the list.

The 2025 U.S. Women's Amateur champion is fresh of a team victory for the U.S. at the World Amateur Team Championship. Ganne's non-counting even-par 72 in the third round was the tiebreaker that won it for the Americans.

In collaboration with the World Amateur Golf Ranking, the LPGA's new ranking system creates a direct route to the Epson Tour for top collegiate players. The rankings will update weekly each Wednesday through the 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Individual Championship. The top 10 players on the Final LCAP Ranking will receive Epson Tour status.

The ranking follows a two-year cycle and includes results from both collegiate and non-collegiate events. Players who turn professional before the final ranking will be removed from the list.
