Kylian Mbappe left Real Madrid concerned after hobbling off with an ankle sprain in the game against Villarreal.
Despite the injury scare, the forward decided to link up with the French national team camp this week ahead of their World Cup qualifying fixtures against Azerbaijan and Iceland.
However, there were question marks raised over the France captain’s availability after he did not train with the squad at all this week.

But, as reported by journalist Andres Onrubia, Mbappe trained with the rest of the group normally today without any problems, pretty much confirming that he is ready for the game against Azerbaijan tomorrow.
This comes after the Frenchman addressed his fitness condition during a press conference earlier today, stating that he was indeed ready to play.

“I want to play. And the coach wants me to play, so I think there won’t be any big problem. I feel like I’m in good shape. The coach and I talk a lot,”he said.
“I haven’t trained yet, I’ll train today. This will be the final test. I’m not worried, I want to play and continue on this path towards qualifying for the World Cup,” Mbappe added.
True to his word, Mbappe trained with the squad and seems all ready to play against Azerbaijan, although it remains to be seen if he starts or is used as a substitute.
The 26-year-old attacker has been in sublime form this season, racking up 14 goals and two assists for Real Madrid across all competitions.
Mbappe also found the back of the net twice and set up one more goal for France in two games during the previous international break in September.
